Located a 1995 L2900 in excellent condition with 600hrs, FEL & top and tilt box scrape. Asking $12,500. I've been looking at getting the B7800 new with FEL and BHog for $17,500 and wondered if this would be a good used alternative? The L2900 does not have HST. Also is the L2900 considered one of the Grand L series? Comments please

There was no hydro available in that model only a eight speed syncro or the Glide Shift. It does sound like a good price. It is the L-series chassis and it would be the equivelent. ....

Thanks Art. What is the difference between the Grand L and L series? Would it make sense to buy this tractor over a new B7800 given the 6K savings? Most of my work will initially be to grade 5 acres, and later mow with a brush hog. Will I regret not getting the HYDRO? ....
